Lake Carmine

Mainly used in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry. Our product does not have coloring powder.

  • Carmine is a calcium aluminum complex of carminic acid.
  • Natural coloring that provides coloration from red to violet.
  • Application: dairy products, sweets, jellies, beverages, bakery products, jams, candies, fruit syrups, cosmetic and pharmaceutical products.

CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF THE LAKE CARMINE

  • Red powder – violet.
  • Dispersible in oils and fats.
  • Great capacity of powder staining.
  • Insoluble in water.
  • Soluble in alkaline solutions.
  • Very stable to light and heat.
  • Precipitates in media below pH: 4
  • Commercial concentration between 50-60% carminic acid FCCII
Water-Soluble Carmine

Used in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, our product is soluble in alkaline solutions.

  • Calcium aluminum complex of carminic acid.
  • It provides coloration in the range from red to violet.
  • In its structure is added an alkali.

PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER-SOLUBLE CARMINE

  • Black powder
  • Does not have powder staining power
  • Soluble in water-soluble in alkaline solutions
  • Very stable to light and heat
  • Precipitates in media below pH: 4
  • Commercial concentration of 50 to 60% of carminic acid FCC II.
Specialty Carmine

Carmine of great power, with low and high shades from yellow-red to blue-red.

Liquid Carmine

Commonly used for the coloring of ice cream, yogurts, sausages, beef and poultry.

  • Carminic acid calcium aluminum complex.
  • For applications in aqueous and oily media.
  • Obtained from the aqueous extract of cochineal and diluted in alkaline solution.
