Lake Carmine

  • Red powder – violet.
  • Dispersible in oils and fats.
  • Great capacity of powder staining.
  • Insoluble in water.
  • Soluble in alkaline solutions.
  • Very stable to light and heat.
  • Precipitates in media below pH: 4
  • Commercial concentration between 50-60% carminic acid FCCII
Water-Soluble Carmine

Used in the food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industry, our product is soluble in alkaline solutions.

  • Calcium aluminum complex of carminic acid.
  • It provides coloration in the range from red to violet.
  • In its structure is added an alkali.

PHYSICAL-CHEMICAL CHARACTERISTICS OF WATER-SOLUBLE CARMINE

  • Black powder
  • Does not have powder staining power
  • Soluble in water-soluble in alkaline solutions
  • Very stable to light and heat
  • Precipitates in media below pH: 4
  • Commercial concentration of 50 to 60% of carminic acid FCC II.
